TIPS TO ENJOY YOUR WEBINAR
GETTING CONNECTED:
A high speed internet connection is recommended. While everything should work with Wi-Fi, you may find you have faster speed with an ethernet connection. There will be videos streaming during the presentation.
BROWSERS:
You will connect to the webinar via a website. Settings on your computer and various plug in installations may affect how different browsers work on your computer. If you are experiencing any problems connecting to the seminar in your usual browser, consider switching to a different browser. Just paste the link to the webinar in a different browser such as Firefox, Chrome, or Safari. Also be sure to have a current flash player on your computer such as Adobe Flash Player https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
For iPads use the Puffin browser or Photon both are free apps. This will allow you to view flash video files included in the presentation. You can log in and out as much as you want.
GETTING FAMILIAR WITH THE WEBINAR TOOLS:
I will be sure to open the webinar early so that you can log in a few minutes early to get used to playing with the site.
You will see options to make the screen larger, send text messages, send feedback to let me know if I need to slow down, etc. You will be able to see me via webcam for most of the webinar. However since we have so many participants I will not enable web cams for others.
You can make me bigger by clicking on the bottom right hand corner of my image and dragging your mouse. You can also lower or raise my volume just underneath my image. Plan on communications being via the text option at the bottom of the page.
