Rainforest Mist African Greys and Amazons

Early days yet, about 10 days, but I can definitely see lots of feathers. Baring their heads. Hes still leaving a trail of fluffy feathers, tho not so many. He is now at the really scruffy stage and looks like he needs a shave,but I will continue using this product in the hope he may get a few feathers on his chest....at the moment he is oven ready. Goi g to transfer into his usual shower bottle....he doesnt seem to like this bottle

This product is brilliant I have a African grey parrot whos feathers had gone on his chest since using this they have started to grow back I would defo recommend this

Bright blue in colour and very strong smell. Quite over powering! My African Grey picked and plucked more so stopped using after a couple of tries.

I was worried my cag was plucking, he was always scratching. I had heard their skin drys and that causes irritation. He also seemed agitated, seriously worried we were. So after seeing this product, Ill give it a shot. When it arrived, we sprayed scooter twice a day. Really soaking him, and after a week, there is a visible improvement, the new feathers are being allowed to open, no scratching the bare areas are closing he seems more relaxed. Im not gonna count my chickens before they hatch but at the moment really impressed.

We got this for our african grey, and hes getting to enjoy getting sprayed and smells of baby talc

I use this after he has had his bath as a sort of leave in conditioner. My grey plucks so I hoped it would help moisturise his skin. It leaves his feathers very shiny and he is left with a lovely smell. Has not made any difference to his plucking that I can see, but I am happy to continue using it as it certainly is doing no harm and I am hoping it is doing him good

although I dont like the smell very much I have seen a great improvement in my cag her feathers look great and she is not scatching just got to find away to get it under her wings she dont like being sprayed this week maybe next week she will I just wish you could buy a refill instead of a spray bottle every time you purchased this item

Makes my African Grey parrots feathers look lovely. Feathers are really soft and he smells gorgeous stops him scratching too

My Amazon kept flying away each time I tried to spray her with this product, yet she loves having a shower from a cheap spray bottle. So I poured the contents into her shower bottle, she accepts that. She has stopped her scratching after first shower, her feathers look smooth and silky, and she smells fresh from the light perfume smell.John.....Bristol.

I bought this product for my brown-headed parrot (a small African species) who has been suffering from dry itchy skin and dull plumage after recovering from a long illness. This gentle mist spray soothed his skin almost instantly and his plumage quickly recovered the lovely soft sheen it had before. Personally I don't see the reason for the baby powder scent, as both my parrots smell fine anyway, but it's certainly nice - he loves it when I bury my nose in his feathers afterwards and say "Mm - you smell lovely!" :-) Highly recommended.

My CAG is not a feather plucker but he tends to chew his feathers and appearance of his feathers looks fluffy all the time. I am sure part of this is due to malnutritution, I wanted to help him with his itchy skin so I tried Avix Soother sprays and all the Avix brand but I never saw any improvement.However, after I spotted this new rainforest mist I decided to give it a try. It has vitamins A,D and E in them which is comforting to know. I have used this spray on my CAG for few weeks and I have seen significant improvement to his overall feather. He does not chew them anymore and his chest looks lovely. I am however concerned about the Baby Powder Scent. Even a tiny spray the fragrance is overpowering. But does not seem to be harmful.If your parrot has itchy skin I think you should give this a try. Try spraying every day. It really works!

Seems to be helping my parrot a bit, hopefully early days. He seems to be scatching less, and being a bit less into pulling out his feathers

I bought this because one of my parrots seemed to find some new feather growth a bit itchy. After the spray he was fluffier than usual and the itchiness seemd to have calmed down. Good result.
