About this Product
A versatile chewable toy with foraging opportunities.
This Peg Wiggler Parrot Toy has many parts fastened to a length of plastic chain, allowing it to wiggle around as your Parrot plays.
Use the metal pear link provided to quickly and securely attach this Peg Wiggler to your Parrot’s cage or play gym stand.
Alternatively, by adding another link to the bottom you can turn it into a bridge or loop it around into a swing.
However you decide to use it, your feathered friend can enjoy hours of fun. They can chew up the colourful wood slats and natural peg shapes, untie the sisal rope knots, or unravel and preen the fibres.
Providing materials your Parrot can chew on safely, not only offers peace of mind, but also helps your bird maintain a healthy and trim beak.
Having ropes to pick apart and preen can help reduce over preening, The knotted ends are perfect for puzzle loving Parrots, as they enjoy spending their time untying them.
All the coloured wood slats have notches in them, plus the pegs and acrylic beads also provide places you can hide and wedge tasty treats or pieces of favourite foods.
Foraging for food is a natural activity, one that would fulfil a lot of a Parrot’s time in the wild. Making the most of toys such as this Peg Wiggler to encourage foraging behaviours is a great way to provide your beaky buddy with essential mental stimulation.

Toy Safety
Every Parrot is different and toys should be chosen with care to match your bird`s personality, as well as how strong and destructive they are. Many toys are made to be chewed and destroyed – that`s part of the fun – so if the toy doesn’t last as long as you expected this is probably because it wasn’t suitable in the first place.
The only toy that is 100% safe is the one that your bird never plays with. We strongly recommend close supervision, especially when introducing new or unfamiliar toys to your bird.
It is important to check toys regularly, you may need to repair or replace any which have become unsafe. Please pay particular attention to rope toys, any loose threads should be trimmed straightaway.
