About this Product

Softer chewable toy for smaller beaks.

All the parts on this Loofah Stacks and Vine Balls Parrot Toy are stacked on a metal wire core for added strength and durability. With four circular loofah pieces and woven vine balls; great for wedging rewards in to, and colourful wood blocks for your bird to enjoy chewing, there’s plenty to keep your beaky buddy busy. For some preening fun a length of natural sisal rope has been knotted on to the bottom loop for your bird to pick, pull and preen. Placing treats inside the vine balls, or wedging them in the loofah slices, provides your Parrot with the opportunity to use their amazing foraging skills. Foraging is a highly stimulating activity, one your feathered friend can happily spend many hours enjoying, staying free from birdie boredom. You can quickly and securely fasten this Loofah Stacks & Vine Balls Parrot Toy to your bird’s cage or play gym stand using the pear link hanger provided.

Toy Safety

Every Parrot is different and toys should be chosen with care to match your bird`s personality, as well as how strong and destructive they are. Many toys are made to be chewed and destroyed – that`s part of the fun – so if the toy doesn’t last as long as you expected this is probably because it wasn’t suitable in the first place.

The only toy that is 100% safe is the one that your bird never plays with. We strongly recommend close supervision, especially when introducing new or unfamiliar toys to your bird.

It is important to check toys regularly, you may need to repair or replace any which have become unsafe. Please pay particular attention to rope toys, any loose threads should be trimmed straightaway.

For further information on Parrot toys and safety please read Liz Wilson's article on Parrot Toys – The Importance of Play.
