About this Product
A gift of a toy for your Parrot.
This Nature’s Gift Chewable Foraging Parrot Toy has lots of chewable wood for your feathered friend to get their beak in to, including popular groovy blocks. Materials your beaky buddy can chew on provide hours of entertainment, whilst keeping them active through play and helping to keep their ever-growing beak healthy and trim. Searching for, finding and retrieving food is how your Parrot would feed in the wild. The groovy blocks provide a way for you to help your Parrot replicates this natural behaviour. Wedging pieces of favourite foods, tasty treats, or their most desired materials in to the gaps is a great way to provide the essential mental stimulation needed for their clever mind, and allow them to fulfil this natural behaviour. All the wood parts are knotted on to lengths of sisal rope, perfect for puzzle loving Parrots, as they use their feet and beak to work at undoing them and unravelling the rope. With hundreds of sisal fibres, there’s plenty for preening on, which can help prevent unwanted over preening. Use the metal quick link provided to quickly and securely fasten this Nature’s Gift to your Parrot’s cage or play gym stand.More Details
Toy Safety
Every Parrot is different and toys should be chosen with care to match your bird`s personality, as well as how strong and destructive they are. Many toys are made to be chewed and destroyed – that`s part of the fun – so if the toy doesn’t last as long as you expected this is probably because it wasn’t suitable in the first place.
The only toy that is 100% safe is the one that your bird never plays with. We strongly recommend close supervision, especially when introducing new or unfamiliar toys to your bird.
It is important to check toys regularly, you may need to repair or replace any which have become unsafe. Please pay particular attention to rope toys, any loose threads should be trimmed straightaway.
