Joey is 55+. We don't know exactly how old he is. We inherited him from my husband?s parents as nobody else in the family wanted him as he was aggressive.

He lived in Cambridgeshire and we live in North Yorkshire so we had to hire a van and put him and his cage in the back, secured and covered over.

He made the long trip to live with us, since being here he has a new cage with a constant supply of new toys (NP obviously!)

He has a better diet but we have discovered he loves pasta. We already knew he loves prawn crackers and Yorkshire pudding!

Unfortunately his wings are clipped, not by the families doing, that's how they got him and he has poor sight in one eye.

He can't fly and was cage bound but he has been out of his cage a few times now, also he goes outside, weather permitting...

I like to think his life has improved as he's doing well for his age, he's not aggressive anymore and loves nothing better than attention.

In fact my world revolves around him... My very special boy Joey.
