Jaffa is an Orange-winged Amazon and he?s amazing because he?s so resilient!

His owner couldn?t take care of him any more so he came to us, a safe house, which has been a total change of everything he had known for 25 years.

He?s a gentle giant, who now loves scritches and basking in the sunlight. At first he stood on his food bowl and wouldn?t move for weeks and now he plays (and destroys) toys, talks non-stop and has even started to fly.

It could have stressed him out and caused plucking but he?s just the most adorable guy who always greets me with a huge HELLO when I return from work.
