Having to work food out of these grooves is a great way to offer essential mental stimulation for your Parrot, as well as providing them with a more natural way of feeding. Locating food, then having to find a way to get it out, is how your bird would naturally feed.
Each of the blocks freely moves on the tightly rolled paper rope which hangs down from a secure fitting quick link. As your Parrot attempts to retrieve their rewards the blocks twist, making it that little bit more difficult than it may first appear.
Your Parrot can also enjoy chewing on the wood to help keep their ever-growing beak nice and trim. Also, the paper rope (which is more durable than you think) is great fun for your bird to unravel, rip apart and shred.

Toy Safety
Every Parrot is different and toys should be chosen with care to match your bird`s personality, as well as how strong and destructive they are. Many toys are made to be chewed and destroyed – that`s part of the fun – so if the toy doesn’t last as long as you expected this is probably because it wasn’t suitable in the first place.
The only toy that is 100% safe is the one that your bird never plays with. We strongly recommend close supervision, especially when introducing new or unfamiliar toys to your bird.
It is important to check toys regularly, you may need to repair or replace any which have become unsafe. Please pay particular attention to rope toys, any loose threads should be trimmed straightaway.
Please remove all packaging from toys and accessories before giving to your bird, this may include silica gel sachets which are non-toxic and help ensure your order reaches you in perfect condition.
