About this Product
Chunky wood toy for your big chewer.
A combination of oversized Zoo-Max groovy blocks, ropes and more wood shapes to keep your big chewer entertained.
This Hector Wood and Rope Parrot Toy hangs on a length of metal chain for strength and durability.
The chunky wood parts are perfect for your Parrot to get their beak into, keeping them busy and their beak trim. Plus, you can wedge food, treats and materials into the grooves for your feathered friend to find, retrieve and enjoy.
It is natural for your Parrot to want to spend their time foraging for their food, so make sure you provide as many opportunities as possible. Foraging provides essential mental stimulation, helps reduce birdie boredom and many associated problems.
Soft cotton rope and crunchy paper rope provide more materials for your Parrot to chew, pick, pull, preen, rip up and tear. The knots provide a puzzle for your Parrot’s inquisitive mind, they’ll enjoy spending time working at untying them.
Having materials such as the cotton rope can help to reduce unwanted overpreening and keep your Parrot looking fantastic.
Use the metal quick link to securely and tightly fasten this Hector Wood and Rope Parrot Toy to your bird’s cage or play gym stand.

Every Parrot is different and toys should be chosen with care to match your bird`s personality, as well as how strong and destructive they are. Many toys are made to be chewed and destroyed – that`s part of the fun – so if the toy doesn’t last as long as you expected this is probably because it wasn’t suitable in the first place.
The only toy that is 100% safe is the one that your bird never plays with. We strongly recommend close supervision, especially when introducing new or unfamiliar toys to your bird.
It is important to check toys regularly, you may need to repair or replace any which have become unsafe. Please pay particular attention to rope toys, any loose threads should be trimmed straightaway.
