Ester is roughly 42. She is a very, very old lady, living her golden years with us after a rough start being abused. She is a rescue bird. She came from a sanctuary where she was looking for a forever home.

She is amazing because she survived so much abuse when she was young, and despite not being able to fly now, she lives life to the fullest everyday and is so full of joy!

She loves getting cuddles all night and taking in the sun in the garden outside after getting a shower - which she hates! She is happiest destroying cardboard and anything else she can get a hold of to chew.

She says no words but loves clicking her beak while getting cuddles - beak clicks mean she is happy. You know she is enjoying herself and happy when you all you can hear is her beak clicking away, together with her favourite human (who, sadly, isn't me anymore but rather my partner!).
