About this Product
A colourful sisal toy with plenty to preen on.
This The Big Knot Preening Parrot Toy has lots of materials for your Parrot to preen on.
Billowing out from the sides of the tightly knotted cotton rope, is curly strands of colourful sisal rope; perfect for your Parrot to pick, pull, unravel, chew and preen on.
Satisfies Chewing Instincts
Colourful wood beads help satisfy your feathered friend’s natural instincts to chew, helping wear down their beak in a safe and enriching way.
Supports Natural Preening Behaviour
The sisal and cotton ropes, plus leather strips offer fibres that are ideal for preening. Providing safe preening materials may help reduce feather-destructive behaviours and supports emotional comfort.
Added Mental Stimulation with Knotted Rope
Puzzle-loving Parrots can enjoy spending their time working at the knotted rope sections, encouraging problem solving, supporting mental stimulation and helping to prevent boredom related behaviours.
Quick and Secure Attachment
A metal pear link is included so you can easily and securely fasten the The Big Knot Preening Parrot Toy to your beaky buddie’s cage or play stand. This ensures a stable play experience while keeping your feathered friend entertained for hours.

Toy Safety
Every Parrot is different and toys should be chosen with care to match your bird`s personality, as well as how strong and destructive they are. Many toys are made to be chewed and destroyed – that`s part of the fun – so if the toy doesn’t last as long as you expected this is probably because it wasn’t suitable in the first place.
The only toy that is 100% safe is the one that your bird never plays with. We strongly recommend close supervision, especially when introducing new or unfamiliar toys to your bird.
It is important to check toys regularly, you may need to repair or replace any which have become unsafe. Please pay particular attention to rope toys, any loose threads should be trimmed straightaway.
Please remove all packaging from toys and accessories before giving to your bird, this may include silica gel sachets which are non-toxic and help ensure your order reaches you in perfect condition.
