We know many of us love to see our feathered friends out and about.
Unfortunately, most of our favourite Parrot places have had to close due to the current UK lockdown. These organisations rely on the income generated when we visit to cover the cost of the food and medication of the birds and animals in their care.
They also use the money to enrich and improve the environments of the animal’s habitats.
Below are a number of popular attractions that are in need of some extra help and are looking for donations.
Birdworld has a range of birds. They are based in Surrey and will use the money for food, housing and medical care. Donate here.
Tropical Birdland has over 250 birds, including rare and endangered species. They are based in Leicester. They are using the funding for general care of the animals. Donate here.
Paradise Park is located in Cornwall. They will mostly be using the money for food for the animals. Their collection includes Conures, Macaws and Birds of Prey. Donate here.
Harewood House is located in Leeds. They have a large bird garden with many different species. Harewood are using the money for food, keeper’s wages and medical bills. Donate here.
