We have tried all sorts of chewing blocks for Casper and these are definitely his faves. So we give him one or two as a treat or when we want to get on with something else without his "help". The cube type tend to try his patience and get thrown on the floor half finished but these slats he can shred into a pile of kindling without getting bored. He loves methodically tearing a bit off at a time, splitting them along the grain.

My black-headed Caique is amusing, highly intelligent and lovable, the perfect pet until she comes into breeding condition which occurs each year during late Spring.At this time, she becomes much more demanding and aggressive. She still comes out at regular intervals but once back inside her cage and within her sleeping box, she will busy herself by chewing on these slats, occasionally in the middle of the night!As a result,the house is relatively peaceful once more and her excessive and manipulative screaming has stopped.My advice would be: give a parrot a 'job' to do for all concerned.

My parrot (like all parrots) loves to chew anything that he can find,this product is ideal for smaller parrots and, my parrot loves them,and cannot get enough of them. A premium buy if you love your parrot!!
