They regularly rescue birds. Below are some of the Parrots looking for new homes this month.
Available for rehoming
I came into the charity a few months ago. I am almost a year old. My owners didn't want me anymore and I had to be collected as a matter of urgency. I’m currently getting lots of love and attention and love to snuggle into you. I’m also learning to step up on command along with other tricks. Can you give me a forever home?
I came into the charity earlier this year from Cheshire. I am an African Grey and was well looked after but unfortunately both my owners became ill and it meant that I had to come to Parrots In Need.
I am friendly once away from the cage and I’m a good talker and singer. I’ll have to warn you though I’m a Liverpool fan and like to watch football. I also sing their anthem. Could you give me a forever home?
I am an African Grey. Unfortunately, my owners had to give me up due to ill health. My mum was going blind and my dad had dementia. I am 11 years old. Could you be my forever home?
Hi My name is Jacko 1. My age isn't known. I came into the charity as my owner sadly passed away and as a result I’ve been plucking really badly. My foster mummy is giving me plenty of tlc and I’m doing well. I talk lots although some words you have to switch off too. Could you give me a forever home?
HI My name is Bow. I’m a Yellow - crowned Amazon. I am around 6 years old. I came from a home where things broke down. I have a few choice words at times but I’m very loving and like to be close to you at times and I will tell you to hurry up. Can you offer me a forever home?
I am a 6 year old Galah. I've recently had surgery to remove my wing which was broken from another bird that my previous owner had as I didn't see the vet. It was too late by the time I came to the charity to save it unfortunately. I also used to free fly so I find it really hard to adapt but I am getting there. I love to go outside and sit on your shoulder when it’s raining as this is something I used to do. Can you be my forever home?
