SecuraCup Stainless Steel Coop Cup - Parrot Bowl

My 12 year old African gray iv had since he was 2 months old has managed to destroy, tip, chew every bowl. So got him this one my husband did have to take it out to his shed and permanently attach it to the clip so have to take the clip completely off the cage to clean re-fill. But have had this bowl since 2015 it now 2019 and bowl still going strong. Would deffinatly recommend this bowl for your lovely distructive baby

The design on these bowls is great. My parrot used to dunk his bowls out of their rings to make fun noise with the metal clanging about. Great pasttime, but unfortunately I needed to know he did not lose all his food into the cage grate while I was at work. This bowl stays in place all day, and is still easy for me to remove to clean. I highly recommend getting this bowl - I want to get a second or third!

These are excellent - the only bowls ever that my cockatoo and African Grey cannot remove or break. I recommended them to a friend with a Blue-and-Gold, and she agrees. Easily worth the price for the saving on the immediate mess caused when a bowl can be removed and hurled. They can still scoop beakfuls out, though - the bowls are wonderful, not miraculous!

This is by far the best parrot bowl on the market

My birds havent managed to tip it yet and the bowl is very big so they can all eat from it together with no squabbling. Good quality clamp too.

I have a African Grey who loves to throw his bowls about costing me a fortune in wasted food. I have tried many types of parrot bowls to no avail. Then I bought the securacup watched and waited with bated breath and guess what he could no remove them. Got my bowls yesterday, installed them in the cage. Filled them, and the bird enjoyed the size of it. The size of it alone does keep the spillage down. But unfortunately somehow the bird managed to pull both bowls out of its brackets, resulting in a drop to the bottom of the cage. So they were only birdproof in a little less than 24h.

one of my parrots would empty their food on the floor all the time ,so i thought i'd get the SecuraCup Stainless Steel Coop Cup , and it does work , the bowl is so easy to pull in and put back in , would not be with out it ....,

We were in a bit of despair as our African Grey Bubba recently got into the habit of upending his food and water bowls nearly every time that he saw us and wasn't let out of his cage - he is let out a lot but when you are trying to get out of the door to go to work etc it's not much fun when you hear 'kerching' and another load of food or water hits the floor. We searched the web and found these bowls at Northern Parrots and read the reviews - parrot owners with similar problems to us regarding the food bowls - and all Greys !! On that basis we ordered them and fitted them into Bubba's cage. Well, since then he hasn't been able to pull either of them out at all despite giving it his best efforts ! They are easy to get in and out for us but impossible for our little feathered rascal - so far - so good. If you also have a bird who loves to tip all his/her food out on a regular basis whenever you appear these bowls are possibly the answer. We are so pleased to have found something that actually works - well worth the money - they have probably paid for themselves by now taking into account how much food was wasted by Bubba upending it on the floor and us replacing it - I insisted although my husband was of the view to not replenish it for a while to try to make him understand (!) - so that caused a bit of conflict - as I know that birds need to get enough food regularly or they can go downhill quite rapidly. So happy household all round now. Well maybe apart from our feathered rascal who would still like to make his point !

These cups have solved the problem of our African Grey tipping his food and water bowls. Have had them for a few weeks now. The clip-in design is easy to get in and out but up to now has proved impossible for him to pull the cup out of the holder. Not cheap but worth the money.

After years of picking up dishes and sweeping up wasted food after Dillon my African Grey had gleefully upended the normal pots I purchased these a couple of weeks ago, and they are brilliant. Easy to slide in or out of the holder -( unless you have got a bird who is determined to stop you).Easy to clean too.Word of warning though - be prepared for a real temper tantrum when your bird finds out he can't throw it around

If you have a problem with your parrot throwing his bowls then this is the best buy you could make.My african was always tipping his bowl, sometimes within a couple mins of me putting the food in! We had so much wasted food and i was getting so frustrated. Found this bowl and it is brilliant! No way it can be tipped so your bird will have a tidy cage and you will no doubt save a fortune on wasted seed. In my opinion is the best product to solve a frustrating habit
