Loro Parque's mission is firstly to protect threatened species from extinction, and secondly to promote the love of nature and respect for animals to the countless visitors.

Versele-Laga assists the Loro Parque Fundacion financially and by providing Loro Parque with a supply of bird feed. Regular consultations between the scientific staff and Versele-Laga`s veterinarians and nutritionists means focus can remain on improving nutrition.
