This sturdy hooded extra large bath can be attached inside or outside of your bird`s cage by adjusting which way around the metal hangers are fitted. Being able to fit a bath inside the cage means your bird is bathing in the comfort and security of their own space.

Fitted across the entrance of the Savic Splash Parrot Bath is a wood perch which makes it easy for your Parrot to grip when entering and especially exiting their bath.

I bought the large for my African grey ,it is too small for her wing span she likes to open her wings and dip her head which she cannot do with this , my green cheek conure and cockatiels have claimed it .

I received my bird bath and its amazing very big and if u dnt want to connect it to ur cage it doesnmatter I put it on top of my cage an my birds jump right in its worth every penny money well spent

Too Big For My Large Cage!

This is very bulky, will not fit in my large cage! Tried sliding bottom out of cage but it would not go under cage because of bars by casters! It will only hang on outside of cage, which defeates the object really. You need to take all your perches and toys out if you could get it in! The screws work loose with even gentle handling. The Perch moves about because it is incorrectly machined. Very disappointed.

For 39.99 I am truly disappointed. The plastic has sharp edges, the wooden perch at the front has not got a deep enough groove to keep it securely on the bath. Some of the screws were already rusty and we have to be careful with metal and parrots. Northern Parrots when I rung them say this dissatisfaction is a one off, and I have always used Northern Parrots and will continue to do so, it is only this one item I do not like. If you order one just check these things I am talking about just be aware please.

African greys are notoriously scared of new things but my grey flew down to where I was putting it together to swipe the screwdriver next to it and was not too scared. Yet to be used but plank of wood is a complete waste. Not very secure.

This bath is great. But it is VERY big. So check the dimensions and check you have room for it! Alfie was pretty good with it- was a bit wary at first but with a slow introduction he was fine eventually. He hasnt stepped all the way inside to have a proper bath yet and still prefers to try and fit in his water bowl- but he has stuck his head in a few times and had a bit of a splash. However, it would fit him in completely with room to spare. My only grumble would be that the wooden perch is not secure on the front, so could potentially be lifted off and dropped on the cage floor. Also, the nuts on the edges are very tempting for Alfie, so Im forever having to tighten them. I would NOT recommend this for a destructive bird who chews everything. I have to take it out when Alfie decides to chew it as the plastic is quite thin. So make sure your bird is supervised if they are destructive else you might end up with a hole or two!

this has not gone down well at the moment it is so big banjo is really scared off it I have been playing with it I have even washed my feet in it yes it is that big I only take a size 5 and only 1 foot at a time banjo will not come near it at mo it might turn out to be a dear footbath for me any tips how to get banjo to like it will be welcome.

I got this bath for my African Grey and he loves it! He's always splashing about in it. I had to attach the screws upside down as he figured out how to undo them. Other than that its well made, easy to clean, and big enough for a male African Grey

This bath is great, big enough for my CAG to turn around in! It did take some time and coaching to get to the point of enjoyment. On first sight there was growls. I left it on the side for 2 weeks then introduced it and went from there. Well worth the wait!! I would say its a little pricey it's just I'm sick of my CAG attempting a bath in its water dish and the sink isn't always free. Ill be using it every week now if not more. There is still water spillage but hardly mentionable and I had to make the groves in the wood slightly larger so it sat more sturdy too. Hope this helps buyers. 4 out of 5 because of price only.

Very good solid product, easy to put together, my parrot tried to chew but the product is strong and solid and he could not manage to wreck it! He did keep pulling off the wooden perch and chewed this!!! If your bird loves a bath, this is the ideal product.

Initially my 2 Caiques were very much afraid of such a huge object invading their cage. However, they are now used to it's presence and so far they they poo on it and generaly make a nice mess on the top of it,but they have not yet ventured inside to take a dip.Therefore I cannot say for sure if it was a good buy or not! Incidentally, the cock bird (who is always full of mischief) has already managed to uhscrew one of the nuts that hold the fxing bars on. Clever boy!

I really want to like this, but sadly our CAG hates it. We have had this a long time, and no matter what we do he will not go in it. Its a shame, because its a good size and well made. Granted the perch will likely need replacing over time, but thats OK. The product itself is very good, my bird just wont use it. Sad face.
