Sanded Nail Trimming Parrot Perch - Medium

Much longer than I expected and very sturdy. Not as harsh as some of the sandy perches ive looked at. Well worth the money

I have tried the concrete pedi-perches, this product, natural branches and the Sandy Perches. I wish I could say this is as good as any other, but the sand is significantly rougher to the touch than on the Sandy Perches. I have already heard of people having to take Sandy Perches away from their bird at times because of the wear on their parrots feet, so with how much rougher this is I can not imagine it being healthy in the long run. Unfortunately I will be sticking with the Sandy Perches in the foreseeable future for this reason, and do not recommend this product. Apart from the excessive roughness it seems well put together and the sand does not come loose, so if you make sure to inspect your birds feet daily this perch can still be an option to consider.

My Hahns Macaw Arnie loves this. Its situated at the front of his cage. Loves to rub and tap his beak on it and sits hours eating, and playing with his toys on this too. Solid perch and good size for my macaw highly recommend it. Long lasting had had this product before Christmas and still got the sand coating on the perch trust me he uses it a lot! Will be buying some more in the future

Great product, parrot took to it right away, but I will order bigger size next time did not read size info properly.

Im glad i bought this perch for my african grey. It certainly does what its meant to do keeps his nails trimmed. I would recommend.

Works as should. Seams to be good quality. Only thing is, the washers are pretty small, or maybe my cage is bigger than average.

An overall good product. You can compare them to the brand (Sandy perch) with a bit poorer quality. I would like northern to bring back sandy, but other than that these are fine, and a bit cheaper.

Very good product...chunky well made value for money

Although I ordered the size sizes as last time, ie 2,3, the ones delivered are much bigger in diameter, which is possibly a bit big for a black headed caique.

I purchased 4 of the sandy perches and a sandy perch swing for our african grey parrot, Billy. Billy's nails scratched my daughters arms to pieces but we didn't want Billy stressed by having them cut. Within one week his nails were really smooth, no more scratching hands and arms and a manicure without being stressed out for Billy. I would recommend these perches to every one who has a parrot.
