I was drawn to this product because its natural , it looked boring like pellets do but smells very good, I was surprised my Parrot tried it straight away I was expecting him to take a while to try it ,he loves it, I do feed him a wide variety of food not just these pellets, they are worth trying I will be buying them again,
A must have product if bird breeding, its very easy to mix up the formula it mixes nicely , I store it in the freezer to prolong the shelf life and take out enough when i need it , i prefer to let the parents rear their chicks but sometimes i have to hand rear, im currently rearing a baby budgie
A must have product , I have breeding cockatiels and budgies.calcium is extremely important for egg laying hens ,I would not be with out calcivet, i give calcivet to my birds 5 times a week when breeding , then twice a week when not breeding , it can be added to drinking water or added to soft food, I have been bird breeding for a number of years calcivet really is a must have product to help prevent calcium deficiency which can lead to muscle weakness ,or egg bound birdDont give more than 5 times a week
I buy the nutri-berries for all my birds, my parrot an A Grey loves them i hide them in his foraging toys so added fun in finding them , my cockatiels love them as well , when i am weaning my baby tiels and they start to eat seed i give them some nutri-berris they have great fun picking bits off the ball shaped pieces they soon get the taste and love themI like the fact that they contain natural ingredients thats very important to me, they also look fresh and appetizing.
My tiels do like this all the right things, paper, bell, and a willow ball lots of fun, i do have lots of toys for my birds but i dont put them all in the cage at once i have a toy box and rotate which toys go in the cage so my birds dont get bored, i also have java perches attached to the out side of their cages and hang toys on those
my birds love millet spraysParrot loves to hold a piece and pick the tiny seeds off so keeps him busyI use it when my baby tiels are learning to eat they love it its a first seed they can manageAnd all my other birds have it as a treat they love it
I have breeding cockatiels and budgies and a African Grey i would not be without guardian angel it can be added to water or on soft food ,i add it to water 1/2 teaspoon to100 mls at the very first sign a bird may be ill , its also important to keep the bird warm i use a heat pad and hot water bottle place tea towel over the hot water bottle so the bird doesn't burn its feet , cover the top and sides of cage to keep heat in[ if you think your bird is sick contact an avian vet immediately]. i also use it on one of my budgies who gets stressed when he moults it definitely helps him, it can be used on birds recovering from illness or traumaI have used it in warm water to rehydrate a chick
i bought this for my african grey he hates water and will not bath or let me spray him he has been suffering with dry itching skin this he likes the mist is very fine
bought this product for my african grey who is suffering from an allergy, he has taken to eating it fantastically he loves the pellets there is a bit of wastage where it crumbles but not too bad
