This is a great prop. Its good for interactive play and developing your relationship as you can both mess about with it together. Its not really important exactly how they play with it. If you use it as an educational toy they will learn something. Its a great way to teach a variety of words without it feeling repetitive and associate them to the real world too. Numbers, colours, actions. They are all there if you use your imagination. It is for supervised play. If you are looking for something to stick in a cage or to keep your bird occupied while you are doing something else this isnt what you are looking for. If you cant spend enough time playing with your bird to get value from this you should probably ask yourself whether you should be keeping them in the first place.

What Torro Rosso Is To Formula 1

My tiels used to love these and would smash through them, then they discovered Harrisons lifetime fine. In common with another reviewer I still give them this as well for a bit of variety. There is no competition though. I give them the same amount of each. I have to refill the Harrisons fine every day. I refill the Kaytee exact once a week. Ive never had any problems with them being to hard or big for my tiels. Their nips hurt lot more than my grey though - maybe mine have been sneaking steroids behind my back or something!

Give Us A Cage Clip

Cuttlefish bone is what it is. I guess natural variation comes with the territory here, given what they are. I was really surprised at some of the other reviews though. The ones I got were absolutely massive. Id say at least 50 Percent bigger than the ones from my local pet shop. Perhaps it would be fairer to sell them by weight, so you get 4 or 5 depending on the size. They should really be sent out with one of those thin metal clips they usually always come with to attach them a cage. I can just about hold them in place on my tiel cage but in common with one of the other reviewers, not a chance of doing that for my grey.

It Really Is Very Good, But Its Far Too Expensive.

I hand reared and then subsequently introduced my African Grey to many different dry foods as well as a wide variety of fresh items. She will try anything I put in front of her, however once she has, in the case of dried food only, she rejects them in favour of Harrisons HPC. This extends to brands she was willing to eat before she discovered HBF. It really comes across like she can tell it is better quality and better for her. The pricing is extortionate for what it really is though, when you consider its main ingredients are sunflower seeds, Barley, Soy beans and peanuts, albeit organic. Harrisons are taking advantage of low standards. They know that by focussing on quality, they can charge excessively high prices because people will find a way to pay for the best for their pets. If they charged a little less, they could probably corner the market, so potentially a little short sighted on their part. When you consider you can buy a good quality 10KG meat pack online for around 100 pounds or 25lb for around 130 Dollars and we are being asked to pay 139 for the same weight of ground up seeds and nuts, it puts things into perspective. I wont stop buying it while its within my means, but I do feel like Im being fleeced every time I do. On another note, if you consider buying the larger 25lb pack, is is not resealable to keep it fresh like the 5lb packs. Seems a bit of an oversight considering its likely to be even more important to keep it fresh for longer.
