This 24Watt UV Flood Compact Lamp emits 2.4% UVB produced over a focusable area so your bird can produce and use Vitamin D3, which is essential for proper calcium metabolism. This is necessary for normal growth, maintenance of strong bones and egg production.

The special UV coating is designed to last 12 months when used for an average of 8 - 10 hours per day. It is recommended to provide a break for an hour or two to allow afternoon resting.
