Where is the attraction?
Tropical Birdland is easily accessible by road or public transport from Leciester City Centre.
Which Parrot species do they have?
Tropical Birdland has over 250 birds. These include Cockatoos, Eclectus, Conures and Macaws.
How did they start?
Richard Hopper started Birdland in 1984. Since then they have built roomy aviaries, café, playground and picnic areas on the site.
What events do they have?
There is a chick room where you can safely view Parrot babies from a distance. For an up close experience, there is the walk through aviaries and Parrot path.
How can I help?
Tropical Birdland offer visitors the chance to sponsor a bird. You can also donate funds to support them through the coronavirus crisis here.

Ticket prices cost a maximum of £8.50. They are open throughout the year.
