2017 Parrot Shows in the UK

2017 has been another great year for Parrot shows.

The biggest show of the year was of course Think Parrots on Sunday 11th June. We sponsored the event once again. At the event there was three masterclasses and mini workshops.

Many of the bird supply companies will be in attendance, so you can stock up on lots of goods for your feathered friend. This is at the usual venue of Kempton Park Racecourse.

One of the first events of the year is the South West Bird Show on Sunday 29th January. If you’re a bird keeper, you’ll find everything you need.

The Newark Bird Show is happening on Sunday 9th April and Sunday 5th November. There’ll be birds of all sizes for sale and everything you need for Parrots, specialising in breeder products. This is at the Newark and Nottinghamshire Showground.

The Bird Keepers Association are holding two shows in 2017. The first is on Sunday 19th February and the second on Sunday 12th November. Again, lots of bird keeper products will be for sale.

The Parrot Society are holding their usual three shows throughout the year.

On Sunday 2nd July it’s the Summer Show, on Sunday 8th October it’s the National Exhibition and on Sunday 3rd December it’s the Help Bird Keepers Show. All will be held at the Stafford Showground.

Plus, there is the Stafford Spring Bird Show on Sunday 5th March.

All four shows are a good chance to purchase smaller birds like Budgies and Canaries, as well as stocking up on supplies for your cage and aviary birds.

The National Pet Show has featured Parrot displays in the past, so chances are they will do so again. This year it’s being held at two different venues on two different dates, to allow as many people as possible to attend.

It’s taking place at the Excel Arena in London between Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th May. NEC in Birmingham between Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th November.

At the Royal Cornwall Show, between Thursday 8th, Friday 9th and Saturday 10th June, there is going to be an exhibition space for cage and aviary birds. It’s the ideal spot to show off your bird if you live in the South West. All the birds have been bred in captivity.

The Pet Show in Warwickshire is happening on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th August. They have a dedicated aviary zone where you can meet Parrots, as well as buy goodies for your bird.

Birdfair, taking place on Friday 18th, Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th August, has tons of fabulous events with experts discussing wild birds and other activities to be arranged over the coming months.

The Family Pet Show is happening between Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th October. The exact itinerary is still under wraps, but there will probably be lots of stalls selling goodies for your Parrot. The venue is Event City, Manchester.
