Perfect for preventing your bird from tipping up and throwing their food or water bowl to the floor of their cage the moment after you`ve just filled it up.

Comes with a special holder which clamps securely to horizontal or vertical bars, the Sure-Lock Parrot Feeding Bowl - Small easily twists on or off in a second - unless you`re a Parrot!

Now with a bowl your Parrot can't easily empty all over the floor you can stop accidently rewarding unwanted behaviour and concentrate on a more beneficial training routine.

Helps to reduce mess and improve cage hygiene. You can also use this Sure-Lock Parrot Feeding Bowl - Small as a bath for smaller pet birds and Parrots.

Great product

Like a lot of bird owners, I was fed up with cleaning up water and food due to my Indian Ringneck tipping the stuff out! But this bowl is a great way to thwart the little feathered buggers from doing this. However the small one is still on the large size for my IRN, but the fact that it prevents the tipping far outweighs this. Recommended, and cheaper on this site than elsewhere :)

Sure-Lock Parrot Feeding Bowl

Having read the information about the Sure-Lock Parrot Feeding Bowl I decided to give them a try. Wow what a product, no more up-turned bowls of food and water. My Senegal has had great pleasure in tipping his food dish and water dish over, which actually fitted into a metal ring on the side of his cage, but I am happy to report that these dishes have completely baffled him (no more spills or waste). I cannot recommend these enough they are a must for all bird owners.Excellent product.

Really a good idea

This was for my Jardine. She had a metal dish that went into a ring that was screwed onto the cage. Her favourite game was to get her head under the dish and bounce up and down till it got pushed up and over and all the food went on the floor of the cage. She cant do that now. LOL

I bought a similar item to this one several years ago. It was round and made of quite thick acrylic material, the method of fitting was similar to the 'Sure Lock' device, but it had a single 'T' bar fitting . My previous bird (an Amazon) never attempted to remove it and when I sold her and bought two Black Headed Caiques, I continued to use the same pot for their water. That was almost two ago. A few weeks ago my wife said she was working in the kitchen when she heard something go bang in the lounge. When she entered the room she found the water pot on the bottom of the cage and water splashed all over the floor. She re-filled the pot and replaced it only to find (in a short space of time) that it had been unfastened again, once again spilling it's contents over the carpet and cage floor. From then on we used a ceramic bowl placed at the bottom of the cage for the birds water., but we left the empty acrylic bowl in place to pacify the birds. A few days later I saw the cock bird using his beak underneath the attachment bar, trying to and succeeding in unlocking the pot. This prompted me to purchase a new pot for their water, and in my opinion there is no way that they can undo this one because it has two fixing bars which lock quite firmly. So bravo to the manufacturers.

Good But I Had A Problem.

This bowl is a good shape and nice and deep. Unfortunately, as I screwed it to the cage, the metal fixing fell out. I rang Northern Parrots who were super helpful and I have a new bowl on its way.
