This popular Hanging Puzzle Tower Parrot Toy - Medium offers a fun way to entertain your Parrot. The activity of foraging keeps your bird active, both physically and mentally.

Insert your bird`s favourite treats into the opening at the top of the Hanging Puzzle Tower Parrot Toy - Medium, making sure the two movable platforms are both pushed in. Your bird's reward should now be sitting inside on the highest platform.

Let your Parrot see you add the reward, and hang up in their cage or play stand using the secure fitting quick link provided.

Your Parrot now has to work out how to pull the platforms back out, making the reward fall towards the bottom. When the treat has reached the base your bird can retrieve it from the opening.

An alternative way to entertain your bird is to fill the toy with materials such as paper, sisal, cotton, wood beads and cardboard, anything your Parrot will happily want to retrieve.

You have the peace of mind this is another high specification toy from Zoo-Max.

Perfect Parrot Puzzle

I really loved this toy as it was a bit more advanced then some of the first foraging toys i bought my senegal. Scout really engages with it and enjoys attacking it to get the treats inside. Its really stable and easily resetable. There are small gaps at the side so you need a good size treat, such a sugarsnap pea or treat ball. You can start by just having it on the lower platform until the parrot gets the idea of what to do. Then you can start with the top platform. Excellent value for money and lots of fun.

Not Too Scary For An African Grey

My Parrots: African Grey, Celestial parrotlets
I bought this for Peter, my African grey who is very nervous about having new things in his cage. However, being able to see the treats inside helped him overcome his timidity. He solved the problem in a couple of minutes. He has had this for a long time and has not destroyed it or damaged it in any way. He likes to sit on his perch with a claw through the pull out shelf and his toy bell on his head - it seems to be his way of relaxing! I tried to sneak up on him to get a photo of him doing this but when he sees me he lets go and sits up normally and acts like he has been caught out doing something silly.

Unsuitable for Smaller Parrots!

When buying this product please make sure that only parrots that are at least of Amazon size have access to it. The head of a Caique can get stuck in the openings at the top and bottom and it is very difficult for a bird of such a size to extract its head again without help.Great toy for a larger a bird and I wish they'd make it for smaller birds, but as it is I consider it a hazard for anything smaller than an Amazon.

This hung in Alfies cage for months before she showed any interest. Once she did, she cracked it easily and now looks for her treats whenever we go out. It's well made and fairly easy to clean.

I bought this for my african grey a couple of months ago, just gave it to him a week ago, it took him less then a day to take it apart.. Now only the top is haning in the chain.. The rest I have been taking up in pieces..Only thing good about it is that he have had some hours of destroying fun I guess...I thought it would be a more lasting toy though...

My grey loves what's in the puzzle...Got him a medium size. Once we overcame the nervous attitude to something new - and the fact that treats were in there.. he's suss'd how to get the goodies out quick. Now need to find something more challenging !Nice little toy to start greys on,,,
